Alex has spent several years working in both public and private sectors, with extensive experience in market access, government relations, and media relations. From Queen’s Park to Parliament Hill, Alex has leveraged her media and digital landscape expertise to drive results in the political sphere.

 

Known for her comprehensive knowledge of the media landscape and her strong relationships with decision-makers, press, and stakeholders, Alex supports clients across a wide range of sectors to deliver results driven by strategic communication.

 

Prior to joining Loyalist, Alex served as Press Secretary to Shadow Cabinet in the Office of Leader of the Official Opposition on Parliament Hill and handled media relations in the CPC National Campaign War Room during the 2021 Federal Election. She previously served as Press Secretary and Senior Communications Advisor to Ontario’s Associate Minister of Women and Children’s Issues and worked as a consultant at a national government relations and strategic communication firm, where she supported health and life science sector clients from across the globe.

 

While working in the private sector, Alex was invited by the German Canadian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy to present at a conference in Berlin on solutions to address barriers for Canada-Germany partnerships on health technology and innovation.

 

Alex holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto and studied abroad at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, Germany.
